Matt has a BS in Accounting from Miami University and attended college on an ROTC scholarship. Upon graduation, Matt was commissioned as a Marine Corps Officer. He completed officer training in Quantico, VA before being stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC. While in the Marines, Matt passed the CPA exam.
After completing his commitment to the Marine Corps, Matt moved to Alexandria, Virgina to be with his new wife and take a job with a local CPA firm. After two years working in public accounting, he joined NVR, Inc., a fortune 500 company that operates in two business segments: homebuilding and mortgage banking. Matt spent over 22 years working in the NVR corporate office in various finance and accounting roles.
Matt looks to blend his corporate experience with the Front Light culture. He is excited to help Front Light improve internal processes and grow the bottom line without sacrificing the Front Light commitment to building quality homes and providing an outstanding customer experience.
Matt and his wife vacationed in Hilton Head many times over the years before packing up their English Springer Spaniel and making a permanent move to the Low Country in 2023. When they are not enjoying their new home on Lady’s Island, they can be found boating the intercostal waterways or dining at one of the many restaurants in and around downtown Beaufort.
